As of 2020 and with help from the coronavirus Video Conferencing has become the new normal. Many people have resisited it in the past, although we have ben using it since around 2004/5 when we first used Skype to speak to relatives who were abroad at the time.
Since the mid 2000s many other companies have popped up but utlimately coronavirus has made the expression “to zoom someone” the new Skype and Skype although the main incumbent doesnt seemed to have caught up. Skype owner Microsoft also has Teams which is very popular as well
